Why I started

I started as a mother who wanted to understand money for my own family. I studied, obtained my Texas insurance license, and became an independent insurance agent. Teaching has shaped my approach, but I am also a salesperson, and I want that role to be clear.

What matters in this work

Listening before recommending, explaining costs and limitations, and being honest when a new policy is not appropriate. You do not need a finance degree to explore the path. You do need to learn, meet licensing requirements, follow the rules, and take responsibility for your work.

Flexible work can be possible, including some remote activities, but licensing, client appointments, training, and business responsibilities still take time. Flexibility is not a promise of easy income or unlimited free time.

Personal mentoring

Learn the work, not just a sales script.

Prepare for licensing

I can help you navigate study and application steps. State regulators determine eligibility, exam, fingerprinting, and other requirements. Verify the current requirements for the state where you intend to work.

Understand the products

Learn how Term, IUL, and annuities work, including premiums, costs, guarantees, limitations, and appropriate uses. We compare needs before products and stay within licensing and company requirements.

Practice the client conversation

Practice listening, explaining clearly, and using quotes, illustrations, documents, and follow-up tools. Client-facing work must follow the licensing, authorization, supervision, and suitability requirements that apply.

The business side, openly.

Independent work, not a salaried job

I work as an independent contractor with World Financial Group (WFG). This is a commission-based insurance business, not a salaried position. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on actual business activity. WFG also has team-building and override compensation arrangements; ask for the current written compensation terms before deciding.

The work includes finding clients and selling when appropriate. Building a business takes sustained effort; this page does not promise that you can avoid sales or that recruitment is required or sufficient to earn income.

What is free, and what is not

My introductory conversation and personal 1-on-1 mentoring have no fee. That does not make starting the business free. You pay applicable study, exam, licensing, background-check, registration, insurance, platform, and other business costs. Costs vary; we will review the current items and terms before you commit.

I can explain the path, not guarantee a license, job, or income. For work-authorization or legal eligibility questions, consult the regulator or an appropriately qualified professional.
